An exciting weekend of competition had the KTC hosting players from all over B.C. and as far away as Whitehorse. Kamloops made a strong showing with over 10 local players in the competition, which spanned the U12 to U18 age groups.

Since the 1980s the Kamloops Tennis Center has delivered high quality tennis programs to Kamloops and surrounding communities. From after school green dot beginners to high performance juniors to adult leagues and informal play 7 days a week, thousands of tennis lovers have used our facilities to enjoy the sport. A number of juniors have gone on to college and tennis scholarships after going through our development programs. As a non profit society soley dedicated to provide tennis opportunities for Kamloops and surrounding communities we take pride in providing top quality playing surfaces, equipment and an air dome for year-round play. All of this takes club volunteers, members and community sponsors. We want to give a huge shout out of THANKS to our incredible sponsors!

 Adult Coaching Programs

PRACTICE

Drills are meant to improve you with maximum repetition. We do give you ‘tips’ as you hit however the purpose of drills is for maximizing volume. This is a weekly sign up by calling the office or if your a member sign up online.

LEARN

PTA - Our Progressive Tennis for Adults clinic introduces the basic fundamentals of play as well as rules and scoring, to get you to serve, return, rally and score. We use a new system of learning through progressions so tennis is easier and not frustrating to learn. Just to help even more, the program includes a free court booking! 
 

AGDC - Adult Green dot Clinic is for players who have completed the PTA Clinic or have previous experience at the beginner level. This clinic is on a full size court with a green dot ball - 75% compression of a regular tennis ball.  The objectives of the clinic is to improve a players ability to serve, return, rally and score with an emphasis on consistency and doubles play.
